Buhari Returns To Abuja After Katsina Visit

Nigerian leader Muhammadu Buhari has departed Katsina state, following a private visit to his hometown in Daura, his media aide Garba Shehu said on Sunday.

President Buhari, Concise News learned, was accompanied by the Katsina state Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, and his Deputy, Mannir Yakubu to the Umar Musa Yaradua Airport.

Others were the State Assembly Speaker, Abubakar Yahaya, and chairman of the state APC, Shitu Shitu.

Buhari arrived Daura late on Friday afternoon to observe the third-day prayers for late Senator Mustapha Bukar.

Bukar represented Katsina North, the President’s senatorial district.
