NPFL Gameweek 6: MFM Stun Akure Gunners, As Akwa United Win First Game

With that, we have come to the end of the coverage of gameweek 6 of the NPFL.

Plateau United remain unbeaten, while Rivers United could not flow in Ibadan as they tasted their first defeat of the season.

Meanwhile, Lagos side MFM’s 1-0 win at Sunshine Stars headlines this week’s games. They’ve now gone four games without defeat.

And Akwa United have finally won their first game of the season, beating Remo Stars in the process.
