Students of the University of Zimbabwe have skipped their first semester exam to demand the withdraw of a Ph.D. certificate the varsity awarded ex-First Lady, Grace Mugabe.

It was gathered that the students did not sit for the exam on Monday and asked the Vice Chancellor, Levi Nyagura, to revoke the Ph.D.

The students also called for Nyagura’s resignation if he does not act accordingly.

Report suggests that the former First Lady’s thesis was unpublished.

Grace was said to have graduated three months after registration from the school for a programme which takes three years.

Her husband, Robert Mugabe, who was forced to resign on Tuesday, is the Chancellor of 10 universities in the country.
