Why Billionaire Oprah Winfrey Never Wanted Babies

American media mogul, Oprah Winfrey has said she never wanted to have children because she lacked motherly instincts.

Winfrey who is also known as the second richest black woman in 2017 with a net worth of $2.8billion lost her only child Canaan in 1968.

The 64-year-old opened up on this during a chat with Gwyneth Paltrow’s debut episode of “The Goop” Podcast.

Oprah said it will be difficult communicating with anyone that cannot speak.

She lauded Paltrow on being able to give birth and nurture two babies, maintaining that it would have been too frustrating for her.

Oprah said, “I don’t think I would have been a good mother for baby children, because I need you to talk to me, and I need you to tell me what’s wrong,” she said. “I can’t just figure it out. I knew this about myself.

“I was always better with kids once they turned two-and-a-half, three, I had a real resonance with them. Gayle (King) was like, ‘Don’t you love babies?’ I was like, ‘Oh, babies are fine.’ It didn’t feel like [having babies] was for me.”
