Everton striker and former England National team captain, Wayne Rooney, has began serving the court ruling for drink-driving.

He was seen serving his 100 hour Community Service work recently.

In September, Rooney was ordered to commence an unpaid 100-hour community service as part of a 12-month community order after he pleaded guilty to drink-driving.

He was also ordered to pay a fine of £85 for prosecution cost and £170 when he appeared at Stockford Magistrates court, where he apologised for his actions.

The former Manchester United captain was also banned from driving for the next two years.

Rooney was charged for drink-driving after security officials in England stopped his vehicle on a random patrol and tested him for alcohol.
