Nigerian tweeps went into a frenzy on Saturday after Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho failed to put away a good chance in Nigeria’s 1-1 draw with hosts South Africa.
The former Manchester City striker was alone in the box but missed what would have restored Nigeria’s lead after Bafana Bafana defence was stretched.
The Eagles had taken the led after a South African defender Mkhwanazi put the ball in his own net, but Bafana Bafana equalised through Mothiba in the 26th minute.

As a footballer, Kelechi Iheanacho has not improved notably since making the jump to the first team at Manchester City in 2015.
Discuss.

what is happening with iheanacho is common with young successful Nigerians, we stop to push ourselves to get better once we attain some level of success.. Allow success get into our head.. He was once touted as the future of Nigerian football.. Sad to see him retrogress this way
