Trump Mourns Death Of Aretha Franklin

United States President Donald Trump has mourned the death of legendary soul singer Aretha Franklin.

The iconic American soul singer died at the age of 76, after several days in coma.

Franklin, who has battled chronic health problems for several years, passed away on Thursday, August 16.

The legendary singer, who spent over five decades in the entertainment industry, was popular for hits like “Respect” and “Natural Woman”.

Reacting in a post on his Twitter page, President Trump described her as a “great woman”.

He wrote: “The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, is dead. She was a great woman, with a wonderful gift from God, her voice. She will be missed!”
