Nigeria’s Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, has said that the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos will be fully reopened on February 15.
Fashola said this during an inspection of ongoing works on roads and bridges in Lagos.
He said the delay in the full reopening of the bridge is affecting the commencement of work on the Falomo brudge.
“Once the third mainland bridge is reopened, we will move to Falomo bridge replace the expansion joints,” he said.
The Minister and his team also visited the bridge on Apapa-Oshodi expressway engulfed by fire when a petrol tanker burst into flames.
