Donnarumma Signs Five-year Deal With Milan

AC Milan goaltender Gianlugi Donnarumma has penned a new five-year deal with the seven-time Champions League winners.
The 20-year-old shot stopper had revealed at the end of the 2016-2017 season that he won’t be renewing his deal which was to expire in 2018. That did not go down well with the Milan faithful responded by calling him ‘Dollarumma’, throwing coins at him at the Fifa under 21 world cup in South Korea.
Both parties have now agreed a 6m Euro per season deal with a release clause of 100m Euros (50m Euros if Milan do not qualify for the Champions League).
Big deal
With this deal, Donnarumma is now the 3rd highest paid player in Italy.
Manuel Nuer of Bayern Munich earns 9m Euros per season, followed by David Degea of Manchester United who earns 6.8m Euros.
