Lawmaker To Face Panel Over Disloyalty To Fayose

Member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly Hon Micheal Adedeji has apologised to the house for being loyal to Senator Abiodun Olujimi instead of Governor Ayodele Fayose.

In a letter to the house dated August 16, 2017, the lawmaker said he took responsibility for his action but the house remained a respectable place for him.

“I hereby dissociate myself from Senator Biodun Olujimi’s claim going round on social media, that I am one of the legislators loyal to her,” he said.

He further stated that he is prepared to be judged for his actions.

“Even at that, I have much respect for the institution and I won’t challenge the authority of the house on this matter; rather I tender and unreserved apology to the speaker and my colleague.”

“Such thought must be perished. My loyalty is to the EKHA and to our leader.
Governor Ayo Fayose, who gave us the platform and opportunity to serve.
I also plea to my colleagues to temper justice with mercy,” he said.
