Why Britain Handed Nigeria Over To North – FFK
The British love Northern Nigeria that was why they handed power to them when they left the country at Independence, according to former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode.
Fani-Kayode made the claim on Saturday in a tweet on his handle.
He shared a photo of the Saurdana of Sokoto Sir Ahmadu Bello, bowing before Queen Elizabeth 11 of Great Britain.
Fani-Kayode wrote: “Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Saurdana of Sokoto, bows before Queen Elizabeth 11 of Great Britain.
“This tells the whole story. The north just LOVE the Brits and the Brits just LOVE the north. That is why they handed Nigeria over to them when they left in 1960.”
