Cannabis Dealer Boards Police Car By Mistake
A drug dealer in Denmark accidentally boarded a police car he had mistaken for a taxi.
The man, who smuggles Indian hemp for a living, is facing a jail term for distribution of the banned substance,
His fortuitous (on the part of the law) arrest was disclosed on Twitter by the Copenhagen Police.
“Last night, a cannabis dealer from Christiania who wanted to get home quickly got into a taxi.
“He received a big surprise when he realised it was actually a police car he was sitting in,” police wrote.
“The police officers were happy to see him since he was carrying around 1,000 joints,” the tweet continued.
The incident took place in Christiana, a part of Copenhagen police have been actively clamping down on in order to eradicate the culture of drug use.
