An aide to the President on Political Matters Babafemi Ojudu has stated that the All progressives Congress (APC) will not allow Governor Ayodele Fayose to rule Ekiti state by installing his deputy as governor.

Speaking at the weekend, the governorship aspirant alleged that the administration of Fayose had been disastrous in terms of looting of the state’s treasury.

He said no effort would be spared to stop the governor from realising his continuity agenda.

The former lawmaker warned party members to refrain from character assassination and backbiting, saying they must unite to prosecute the coming electoral battle.

Ojudu also denied having any crisis with a former Governor Kayode Fayemi.

He said: “I know that the challenges of the recent years have galvanised our people to be resolute to fight the battle ahead. The next election is a must-win for APC.”
