  • Luka Toni Reacts As Ronaldo Throws Shirt Away After Serie A Game

Former Juventus striker, Luca Toni has reacted to Cristiano Ronaldo’s reaction after he failed to score in Juventus’ win against Genoa last week. Ronaldo was spotted apparently throwing away his jersey at the sound of the final whistle in the Serie A game. This is despite being the club’s leading goalscorer this season. Reacting, Toni said during his own days, he was very selfish but still celebrated with his teammates when they scored. “He’s very important for Juventus,” the former Bianconeri forward told Tuttosport. “He’s the leading goalscorer, he scored a lot. But I’m not impressed by some of his attitude towards the group. I think back to when I was playing. “I was very selfish and if I didn’t score, I still remained on the pitch to celebrate anyway. I endured the disappointment. “Regardless of whether it was a coincidence or not, you don’t throw the shirt. Sometimes a great champion has to lead by example.”

Haaland Is Unstoppable – Guardiola Hails

Pep Guardiola has hailed Erling Haaland after his side Manchester City defeated Borussia Dortmund to reach the Champions League semi-final. Guardiola describe Haaland as a talented player who was almost unstoppable. For that, we need to play good and try to let him live away from our box. It happened in both games. “He is a player not [just] because he is fast, the quality of his first control, how he links with his mates, strong in the air and good finishing. “He’s a top-class player, top class, and will be stronger in the future.”

Champions League: Owen Predicts Liverpool, Real Madrid Clash

Former England international, Michael Owen has predicted the second leg of the Champions League between Liverpool and Real Madrid. The first leg in Spain was won 3-1 by Madrid who now travel to Anfield for the second leg. Owen also predicted the outcome of the Borussia Dortmund’s clash with Manchester City at the Westfalenstadion Stadium in Germany. “Dortmund gave City a real game at the Etihad last week, but in the end, it was Phil Foden who made the difference with an injury-time goal. “Following up with a defeat at home to Leeds at the weekend, it clearly took a lot out of the City players. “Saturday’s performance was unlike the soon-to-be English champions, but it is possible they had one eye on this match, and complacency crept in. “The Citizens are desperate to add the Champions League to their ever-growing list of trophies, and if they are at the top of their game, I can only see one winner. Dortmund 1, Manchester City 2.” Commenting on the Liverpool vs Real Madrid game, Owen said, “Liverpool were slightly under-par away in Spain last week, but they bounced back with a win at Anfield against Aston Villa on Saturday. “Although they weren’t …
