Shia LaBeouf’s ‘Man Down’ Sells Just Three Tickets In The UK
Shia LaBeouf’s new movie, Man Down, tanked as it looks to end the week’s run in the United Kingdom after extremely dismal sales.
The film – an account of a U.S. soldier suffering from PTSD after returning from Afghanistan – sold just one ticket as it premiered in the UK.
Since then, it has garnered a 200-percent box-office leap as two more people bought tickets in the days that follow.
“I think we’ve sold three tickets in total,” a manager at the movie theatre told The Hollywood Reporter. “[We haven’t] experienced anything like it before.”
The movie, which also features Gary Oldman, Kate Mara and Jai Courtney, will stop showing on Thursday, after garnering a measly $26.
While Man Down earnings are beyond abysmal, it still is not the worst as that title is held by Inbred, a horror flick that made just $19 in the UK.
