Paris Saint Germain’s Kylian Mbappé has won the 2017 Golden Boy award for the Best Young Player in Europe.

The French sensation saw off competition from Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford and Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembélé.

Mbappé, 18, won 291 votes to beat Dembélé, who got 149 points, and Rashford who took third place.

The player came into the spotlight after he netted six Champions League goals to fire Monaco to the semi-finals of the Champions League and the Ligue 1 title last season.

He has scored four goals and made four assists in 11 matches for the Paris club.
