The new office of the Police Mobile Force Headquarters Squadron 20, aka MOPOL 20, has been named after two Mobile Police Officers (MOPOL), Chukwudi Iboko, and Sunday Agbo, who lost their lives during a robbery attack in Owerri earlier in the year.

During the commissioning of the new complex in Ikeja, Lagos state, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris said the officers, who died while repelling a robbery attack on a Zenith Bank branch in Owerri, Imo state, were immortalised for their selfless service.

He said the move is to inspire other officers to put more effort in the discharge of their various duties.

Idris said: ”The officers have shown serious Commitment in delivering their gallant duty while they are on duty and the Nigeria Police force will never forget them.”

According to him, the Mega Office Complex was erected to enhance the smooth discharge of officers’ duties to bring crime rate down to the barest minimum.
