The Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dakuku Peterside, has demanded that the Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike, disclose publicly the total amount accrued to the state every month.

Peterside stated this when he spoke with journalists in Port Harcourt over the weekend.

The NIMASA boss accused Wike of running a government of deceit, adding that the people of the state were aware of his corrupt practices.

He said Rivers state gets huge sums of money from the federal government, Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), PRefundlub Refund among others monthly.

With all the funds available to him, the Governor was yet to embark on any meaningful project that could transform the lives of citizens of Rivers state.

“Let him point to one single road project he started and completed. None. He can’t point at any despite the huge sums of money that he receives every month.” he said.
