The Kebbi state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are in confusion over the defection of their members.

The PDP had said, “Evidence of nepotism is everywhere in Kebbi, particularly in key strategic projects, quality of projects varies from one area to another, depending on where the Governor comes from.”

But reacting to the allegations, the Publicity Secretary of the party in the state, Sani Dododo, challenged the PDP to produce evidence to back up its claims.

Dododo said: “The allegations of nepotism and award of contract, we challenge the PDP to expose any relative of governor Bagudu that is a beneficiary of government contract in the state.

“When Bagudu came into power, he met a liability of N83 billion and in spite present state of the economy of the state, he settled over N51 billion, settled pension arrears and paid workers salary monthly.”

He added that, “There is no iota of truth over the allegations of PDP that the agricultural policy, especially the rice revolution in the state, is deceitful.
