PDP Reacts To Crash Of Osinbajo’s Helicopter
Osinbajo Survives Air Crash As Chopper Crashes In Kogi

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed shock over the crash landing of the helicopter carrying Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, in Kabba, Kogi state, on Saturday.

A statement issued in Abuja by Kola Ologbondiyan, National Publicity Secretary and Director, Media & Publicity, PDP Presidential Campaign Organization, thanked God for the safety of the Vice President, members of his entourage and the crew.

The opposition party, however, called for a thorough investigation into the traumatic incident adding that the safety of our leaders, and of course, all Nigerians, must be guaranteed, especially at this critical time.

The PDP urged all Nigerians irrespective of creed, ethnicity and political affiliation, to continue to pray for God’s continued intervention in our national life.

Osinbajo on Saturday escaped death as his chopper crash-landed in Kabba, Kogi State.

Concise News understands that the chopper was conveying Osinbajo to a campaign rally in Kogi State.

According to a tweet by his spokesman, Laolu Akande, Osinbajo and all the occupants of the chopper came out safe.

Akande said the vice-president continued on his campaign trip after the incident.

He wrote: “VP Osinbajo’s Chopper crash lands in Kabba, but he and the entire crew safe. He is continuing with his engagements and plans for the day in Kogi State.

“We give all the glory to God, our able protector and commend all the Flight Crew officials for their service. We are marching on for indeed we can do all things through Christ that strengthens us!”
