‘I Paid N27 Bride Price To My Wife’s Family,’ Alibaba Reveals
King of Nigerian comedy, Alibaba has talked about the institution of marriage and how some tribes value their children more than her bride price.
He posted a beautiful photo of his wife Mary, on his Instagram page and revealed that he paid an initial sum of N30 as her bride price which was reduced by her family to N27.
Alibaba wrote:
“As we say in Warri… “See how @mummymary_ ripe… so taaaay she and the background blend”. I paid N30 bride price… the family said they don’t sell their daughters. So they gave me back N3… in essence, i paid N27. I think it is time to recapitalize.”
