National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) John Oyegun is unduly interfering in the congresses of the party in Delta state, chieftain of the party Great Ogboru has alleged.

Ogboru made this known when he accompanied the Chairman of the Delta Congress Committee to present its report to the party’s National Working Committee.

He pointed out that Oyegun’s actions were contrary to the APC guidelines for the congress.

“I felt last week that the national chairman of the party interfered unduly, unjustly and unconstitutionally in the conduct of the congress in Delta state but I am not so sure if this is the appropriate place to say it,” he said.

“It is sufficient to say that there was undue interference in the process which we felt that the chairman has no authority to do and which we told him to his face that what he did was not only unconstitutional but a slap on democracy.”
