Omokri Reacts To Buhari’s Endorsement By Celebrities
A former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has reminded Nollywood celebrities that President Muhammadu Buhari canceled the film village in Kano on “religious’ ground.
Concise News had reported that some Nigerian celebrities had visited Buhari in Abuja on Thursday.
Former football stars, Daniel Amokachi, Peter Rufai, Garba Lawal and artistes Korede Bello, Jide Kosoko, Iyanya, Joke Silva, DJ Jimi Jatt were among those who visited Buhari.
They had also pledged their support for his re-election quest in 2019, saying that the present administration has achieved much in its first term.
However, Omokri has reminded the celebrities of Buhari’s cancellation of the film village.
“To Alex Ekubo, IK Ogbonna, Dayo Amusa, Mercy AIgbe, Rita Edochie, Kenny St Brown, Fathia Williams,, Joke Silva, and others who celebrated with @MBuhari in @AsoRock today don’t forget this is the man that canceled the film village in Kano on ‘religious’ grounds!” Omokri tweeted.
