Concise News reports that home side, Remo played goalless with former champions, Rangers International of Enugu while in a goalmouth melee, Michael Stephen salvaged a point at home for reigning champions, Lobi Stars against Niger Tornadoes.
Jibrin Mustapha put visiting Tornadoes in front on 8 minutes before Yaya Kone scored from the penalty spot to equalise for Lobi. Therefater, Goyi Mohammed made it 2-1 for Tornadoes, but Stephen would then ensure a share of the spoils deep into injury time.
In Group B, a double from Nwagua Nyima (3rd and 62nd minute) and a penalty from long-term player, Rabiu Ali ensured Kano Pillars move within two points of Group B toppers Akwa United in the abridged NPFL season with a 3-0 win over visiting FC Ifeanyi Ubah.
However, Ifeanyi Ubah stay third on the log while the win takes Pillars one place up to No. 4 in place of Go Round FC.
