Nigeria’s U-23 Media Officer, Timi Ebikagboro Is Dead

Nigeria’s Olympic team (U-23) Media Officer, Timi Ebikagboro has died in Warri, Conicse News have learnt.

It was learnt that the 47-year-old died in the early hours of Friday in his home in Warri.

According to Tochukwu Amaeruchi who is a friend of late Ebikagboro, said the veteran journalist was battling with illness before his shocking death.

“I woke up to the sad news on our WhatsApp group.” Amaeruchi said.

Several Facebook users, notably from Warri have expressed their shock at the loss on his Facebook wall.

Ebikagboro was a sports journalists for more than two decades in Television, radio and print meida.

He served as the media officer of Warri Wolves and was the media officer of Nigeria’s U-23 football team before his reported death.
