The Lagos State Government has demolished the rest part of the collapsed two-storey building and others for failing integrity tests. A two-storey building under construction in Lagos State collapsed on Friday.

The Nigerian Army has debunked reports making the rounds that it will commence a nationwide exercise code-named Operation Positive Identification. It described the reports of the exercise which was said will require Nigerians to show proof of their citizenship to soldiers who will be deployed across the states as mischievous.

8. Makinde Explains Stoppage Of Ibadan Circular Road Project

The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has explained the reason behind the stoppage of the Ibadan circular road project which his predecessor Abiola Ajimobi awarded. Makinde had on Thursday ordered that the work be stopped with immediate effect. His directive to halt the work has attracted several criticisms with the major opposition in the state describing the Governor’s action as hypocritical.

Nigerian singer Blackface has revealed that defunct music group, Plantashun Boiz will release an album titled ‘The Return’ in 2020. Blackface made the revelation in a recent interview where he revealed that the group is still very much active.

10. FIFA U17 World Cup: What Minister Of Sports Said About Eaglets Loss To Australia

Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare believes that the Golden Eaglets will bounce back from their 1-2 defeat to Australia in their last group match at the ongoing 2019 U17 World Cup in Brazil. Five-time world champions failed to turn things around after going 1-2 down to hand Australia their first win in the competition.
