Former spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh, has made a no-case submission before the Abuja High Court in the destruction of evidence charge preferred against him.

He was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on a two- count charge of alleged destruction of evidence.

Metuh, through his counsel, Onyechi Ikpeazu (SAN), told the court on Tuesday that they are making a no-case submission, as the prosecution failed to prove any case against the accused.

The prosecuting counsel, Sylvanus Tahir, had on 10 October, 2016, closed his case after calling three witnesses to testify.

After listening to the submission of Ikpeazu, Justice Ishaq Bello adjourned the matter till October 4 for counsels to adopt their final written addresses in the no-case submission.
