Lagos Prepares Administrative and Medical Screening for 2024 Pilgrims

In preparations for the upcoming pilgrimage, the Lagos State Government has announced plans to conduct administrative and medical screenings for intending pilgrims for the year 2024.

According to a statement issued by Mrs. Yetunde Gbafe, the Board Secretary, the screening process is slated to commence at 9 am on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024, at the Chapel of Christ The Light Church, located in Alausa, Ikeja.

Mrs. Gbafe emphasized the mandatory nature of the screening and urged all intending pilgrims to participate fully. Additionally, she advised them to bring along essential documents including their yellow card, one passport photograph, an international passport, and original copies of all receipts and payment tellers.

The screening initiative underscores the Lagos State Government’s commitment to ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of its citizens embarking on religious pilgrimages. By conducting thorough administrative and medical checks, authorities aim to mitigate potential risks and facilitate a smooth and successful pilgrimage experience for participants.
