Katsina Elders Endorse Buhari For Second Term
The Senior Citizens Forum of Katsina State on Sunday assured President Muhammadu Buhari of their support in the forthcoming 2019 elections.
The Senior Citizens Forum include those had served the federal, the military and the police.
Speaking after the meeting which was held closed-door with the President, Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State told journalists that the meeting was to show their solidarity and full support to the President.
He added that the senior citizens and the opinion leaders were at the meeting to also identify with the President’s hopes and aspirations.
“Of course, some of the senior citizens who had been opportune to serve the country and are now retired also came to assure him that they will use all their connections to get more support for him,” Masari said.
