Takai Sets Up 15-man C’ttee For Kano Guber Election
Salihu Sagir Takai has inaugurated a 15-member coordinating committee for his governorship campaign ahead of the 2019 general election.
He was the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2011 and 2015 in Kano state.
The committee, which was inaugurated on Monday by the Central Working Committee of Takai 2019 Gubernatorial Campaign Organisation, is chaired by Takai himself.
A statement signed by Barrister Faruk Iya Sambo indicated that the committee was charged with the responsibility of coordinating Takai’s campaign for 2019, under the main central working committee.
Other members of the committee include Dr. Bashir Shehu Galadanchi, Barrister Faruk Iya Sambo, Ali Datti Yako, Hon. Ubale Jakada Kiru, Dr. Mahmoud Baffa Yola, Hon. Garba Shehu Fammar and Hon. Idris Garba Unguwar Rimi.
Others are Kabiru Muhammad Tarauni, Hajiya Aishatu Mai-Jama’a, Munnir Matawalle, Hon. Sanusi Sani Barkum, Lawal Tudunwada, Tijjani Labaran Dambatta and Muktar Darki who will serve as secretary of the committee.
