Fifa has fined Nigeria $31,000 for the crowd disorder that occurred during last month’s World Cup qualifier against Cameroon in Uyo.

The match ended 4-0 in favour of the Super Eagles.

The world football governing body also warned the football federation against a re-occurrence of the incident.

The crowd trouble, according to a statement by Fifa, is a violation of Articles 65 and 67 of the FBC FIFA stadium safety and security regulations.

This comes as the Super Eagles gear up for the make-= or mar game against the Zambians on October 7.

Fifa also slammed a $33,000 on the German football federation after fans encroached on the playing field and were heard chanting Nazi slogans during a World Cup qualifying game in the Czech Republic.

“The range of charges against Germany included fans encroaching on the field and setting off fireworks at the game in Prague,” FIFA said.

Other nations that were fined are Czech Republic, Argentina, Panama, and Hungary.
