Fayose Taunts Buhari Over Reinstatement Of Maina

The governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose, has taunted President Muhammadu Buhari for calling back wanted Abdulrasheed Maina, who was chairman of the defunct Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms.

His reappointment was confirmed by the Ministry of Interior on Sunday.

The ministry said Maina had been reabsorbed and promoted to the position of Director of Human Resources following recommendations from the Office of the Head of Service.

Maina is still under EFCC investigation for fraud.

Fayose then took to Twitter to share his reaction to the reappointment of an individual who is under probe.

He said, “Someone accused of stealing billions of pension fund was returned to the FG civil service and you still think Buhari is fighting corruption?” See tweet below:
