Davido Celebrates Father’s New Age
“30 Billion” frontliner, Davido has prayed for his father, Adeyemi Adeleke as he clocks a new age on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.
The DMW boss, took to his Instagram page to share a photo of himself, his two older brothers and his dad as he praised him.
He wrote: “Happy birthday Daddy ! Your the greatest person I know! If not for you I do know know where we will all be ! MAY GOD CONTINUE TO ENLARGE UR COAST ! YOUR HEART IS TOO RARE ?? We all learn from you ! ?? you so much ! From your last born – OBO.”
The “If” singer then took to his Snap page to mourn his deceased mother, Veronica Adeleke.
According to him, she died on March 6, 2003.
The “Fia” singer revealed that he misses her so much and wishes she was still alive to witness the kind of success he has achieved.
Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) reported that Davido’s “If” has attained diamond sales online and his “Fall” has hit platinum sales.
Diamond means the song has recorded at least one million sales while platinum means a record of at least 10 million sales.
