Cynthia Osokogu Facebook Friends Ruled Guilty Of Her Murder

Two men, allegedly responsible for the death of Nasarawa-base postgraduate student, Cynthia Osokogu, who was lured through Facebook to Lagos before her death, have been found guilty.

The men, Ezekiel Eloka and Echezona Nwabufor, were brought before a Lagos High Court in Igbosere where their judgement was passed.

Ezekiel Eloka and Echezona Nwabufor were charged for conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to steal.

According to Premium Times, the court process which is still ongoing has been presented with strong evidence which proves that the accused killed Cynthia.

Found guilty

The presiding Judge, Justice Olabisi Akinlade, also found both parties guilty of committing felony by stealing her Blackberry phone.

Olabisi said that the prosecution proved beyond doubts that the accused were intent on stealing her belongings and indeed carried out the beastly act by killing Cynthia.

The deceased was lured from Nasarawa to Cosmilla Hotel, Lakeview Estate, Festac Town Lagos were she was killed in July 22, 2012.

However, there was a pharmacist Orji Osita, who has been released after being charged for recklessness and negligence for the wrong prescription of drugs the deceased was drugged with before her death.
