Chiwetel Ejiofor Stars Alongside Angelina Jolie In ‘Maleficent II’
Nigerian Hollywood actor Chiwetel Ejiofor will be acting alongside Oscar winner, Angelina Jolie in the sequel to box office movie, “Maleficent”.
The Walt Disney Pictures production sees the Nigerian-born actor appearing on this box office beside Jolie who maintains the key role in the sequel.
Ejiofor is popular for his excellent role interpretations in “Doctor Strange” and “12 years a Slave”.
“Maleficent” was first released in 2014 with Jolie playing the key role.
Other cast in the movie are, Michelle Pfeiffer as as Queen Ingrith, Ed Skrein, Harris Dickinson as Prince Phillip, and Robert Lindsay.
Top Norwegian film director, Joachim Rønning, who co-directed “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” will be directing “Maleficent II.”
The first part grossed over $750 million at the world box office and the sequel is expected to make better earnings.
The release date for the sequel is yet to be announced, but Ejiofor who has bagged numerous nominations for acting is expected to nail it with this one.
