Carrick Testimonial Records 65,000 Tickets Sale

Manchester United midfielder, Michael Carrick, has disclosed that his foundation has sold 65,000 tickets ahead of his testimonial on Sunday at Old Trafford.
The testimonial is meant to generate fund for the United’s defensive midfielder’s foundation, Michael Carrick Foundation.
The match will feature some legends of the Red Devils at the Theatre of Dreams.
The Champions League winner took to Twitter to disclose the information.

The likes of Edwin Van Der Sar, Rio Ferdinand, Wes Brown, Gary Neville, Owen Hargreaves, Michael Silvestre, Nemanja Vidic, Ryan Giggs, Ji-Sung Park, Paul Scholes, Darren Fletcher, Dimitar Berbatov, Louis Saha, Wayne Rooney, Michael Carrick will play for Manchester United ’08’ XI.
They will be managed by the most successful manager of the club, Sir Alex Ferguson.
Former Tottenham manager, Harry Redknapp will manage the opponents tagged Michael Carrick All-stars.
The players iinclude Shay Given, Michel Salgado, Eric Abidal, Joan Capdevilla, Phil Neville, Jamie Carragher ,John Terry, Gaizka Mendieta, Frank Lampard, Clarence Seedorf, Damian Duff, Richard Garcia, Marcos Senna, Robbie Keane, Michael Owen and Eidur Gudjohnsen.
