I Can’t Marry Marvis, #BBNaija Winner Efe

Winner of the just concluded Big Brother Naija reality TV show, Efe, has revealed why he can’t marry Big Brother Naija sweetheart, Marvis.

Efe, who is 24 years old, disclosed in a chat during a recent event organized in honour of the housemates, that he might have considered putting a ring on Marvis’ finger but she is already in a committed relationship.

In his words: “Unfortunately I can’t marry Marvis because she has a boyfriend. She is committed to the relationship.”

The story behind Marvis, Efe

The 2017 Big Brother Naija reality show had a host of housemates who were expected to live together for a span of 77 days.

The numbers of male and female adults who took part in the game, was almost an equivalent of a one man, one woman ratio, so ‘love’ was not lacking.

First was TBoss and Miyonse, but Miyonse got evicted early, so their relationship suffered a major break, then Marvis and Efe.

Marvis and Efe initially appeared as friends then they started to bond little by little till they became almost inseparable.

In all the couple games, they won each rounds and even emerged as the first Big Brother Naija couple who wedded in the house; part of their weekly challenge though.

Efe later opened up to another housemate, Bisola, telling her how he really felt about Marvis. Fans expected that since the relationship started normally, because the love affair just happened without having to force it, perhaps they should fight for it.

The housemates, however, were thinking beyond the reality show, they entertained viewers with a show but deep down they were really about what’s next after the #BBnaija reality show.
