Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, is back in the most populous country in Africa, after spending over 100 days in London on medical vacation.
That was not the first time the Nigerian leader spent days away from home since he became president on 29 May 2017.
President Buhari had earlier embarked on a six-day vacation in the British capital between February 5 and 10, 2016.
And due to what the Presidency described as ”persistent ear infection”, the former military ruler embarked on another 10-day vacation on 6 June, 2017.
Buhari returned to Nigeria on 19 June, 2016 after spending 14 days in London.
The 74-year-old Nigerian president again left the country on 19 January, 2017, for another medical check-up.
But his aides later announced that he would be staying back in London to enable him to get the results of some medical tests he did.
Buhari then returned to Nigeria on 10 March after a 49-day medical sojourn.
And after missing three successive weekly federal executive council meetings, the Nigerian leader embarked on another trip to London on 7 May, 2017.
