President Muhammadu Buhari will ”work from home” contrary to expectations that he would resume work in his office.

According to his Special Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, the president’s office is undergoing renovation and hence Buhari’s decision to work from home for the time being.

”Some renovations are ongoing at the office. His fully equipped office in his residence. He’ll be back to the main office after the works,” he tweeted.

Ahmad was responding to speculations that the president opted to work from home because he has not fully recovered.

President Buhari returned to Nigeria on Saturday after spending over 100 days on medical vacation in London.
