APC Tells Army To Sack GOC 1 Division Over Hunkuyi’s House Demolition
The All Progressives Congress in Kaduna State has called on the Nigerian Army to relieve the GOC 1 Division for meddling into partisan politics in the state.
Factional leader of the party in the state, Danladi Wada made this call at the press briefing in Kaduna on Tuesday.
He said it is unfortunate that the army who is known for its decpline will descend so low to give cover to the Governor Nasir El-Rufai to demolish its secretariat at 11B Sambo Road, Kaduna.
The factional leader commended the Kaduna State Commissioner of Police for refusing to allow his officers to be used as political tools in the hands of the governor to silence oppositions in the state.
Wada also called on all party members to be law abiding and remain calm in the midst of provocation by the governor and his aides, as the party have taken appropriate steps to seek redress in court of law.
