The people of Kano state, northwest Nigeria, have boosted President Muhammadu Buhari’s chances of winning Nigeria’s 2019 presidential election with more than one million votes. According to the Collation Officer for the Presidential election in Kano, Prof. Magaji Garba, Buhari scored 1,464,768 to defeat the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, who scored 391,593 votes.

3. Atiku Suffers Brutal Defeat In Buhari’s Katsina (See Result)

President Muhammadu Buhari of All Progressives Congress (APC) recorded a massive victory in his home state of Katsina to brighten his chances of emerging winner of Nigeria’s 2019 presidential election. Buhari’s APC crushed Atiku Abubakar’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the race for Nigeria’s highest office by polling 1,232,133 votes.

4. PDP Rejects Presidential Election Results, Gives Reasons

Uche Secondus, the National Chairman of Nigeria’s main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has announced the party’s rejection of the yet-to-be-fully announced 2019 presidential election results. Secondus released a statement on Monday, saying the results being announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) do not tally with what the party had collated across Nigeria.

5. Latest Election Results: US’ Message To APC, PDP, Others

The US ambassador to Nigeria, Stuart Symington, has warned against the release of results which are not from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Concise News reports that Symington also asked key candidates not to claim victory before the final announcement by INEC. He also appealed to politicians to honour the peace accord signed to ensure successful polls.

6. Latest Election Results: Buhari Floors Atiku In Lagos

The All Progressives Party candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari, has defeated Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos state, southwest Nigeria. Atiku trailed Buhari 132,798 votes. Buhari polled 580,814 votes to beat Atiku, who got 448,016 votes.

Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, defeated President Muhammadu Buhari of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo state – the territory of the chairman of APC governors’ forum, Rochas Okorocha. Results were announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) returning officer in Imo, Prof. Benjamin Ozurumba, on Monday night.

8. Latest Election Result: Atiku Beats Buhari In Oshiomhole’s Edo

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, narrowly emerged winner in Edo state, home state of the APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole. Concise News reports that the State Collation Officer for the Presidential election, Ndowa Lale, announced at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters in Benin that Atiku scored 275,691 votes, while President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) scored 267,842 votes.

9. Election Result 2019: CUPP Labels INEC Chairman ‘Worst Ever’

The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) has rejected the results of the Saturday’s presidential election currently being collated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Concise News reports that in a statement on Monday evening by its national spokesman, Imo Ugochinyere, the coalition described the exercise as  “pyrrhic victory and  the robbery of a nation.”

10. INEC Official ‘Forced’ To Declare Okorocha Winner

The returning officer for Imo West Senatorial District, I.I. Ibeabuchi has said that he was “forced” to declare Imo state governor Rochas Okorocha winner of the Imo West Senatorial election. Ibeabuchi said he stopped the collation after announcing nine out of the 12 local governments in the district, saying he had been directed to “return to Owerri, the state capital.”
