Tudun Wada District Head, Muhammed Ibrahim, has urged traditional institutions and government authorities in Nigeria to partner towards eradicating polio.
In a statement issued by the Tudun Wada Information Officer, Ahmad Isa, Ibrahim, said that he had observed the high level of enthusiasm in checking the spread of polio and other child killer diseases in the area.
It was learned that Ibrahim spoke during the polio immunisation review and stakeholders meeting held at his palace.
He assured that he would continue to support the efforts being made to achieve the desired goals.
Earlier, the primary healthcare coordinator in the area, Muhammed Surajo, said the aim of the meeting was to address the issues militating against the exercise.
He expressed optimism with the level of cooperation by parents during the last round of the exercise and called on them to extend the same to this present round.
