Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has said Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori are still weighing the option of representing Nigeria, Concise News reports.

Abraham has been in fine form for Chelsea this term just as Fikayo with both eligible to play for Nigeria and England.

According to Abraham who has played for England at the youth level, at the moment, he is not thinking of his international career and wants to keep doing well for the Blues.

On his part, Fikayo hinted that he may make the switch to the West African nation if the coach invites him but wants to take his time.

Speaking about the duo and their chances of featuring for the three-time African champions, Rohr said he would respect their decisions not to talk about the matter for now.

“They are both interesting players, but we have made our immediate plans without Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori,” the German told BBC Sports.

“They are not interested in discussing their international options at the moment and we need to respect that.”

Nigeria played out a 2-2 draw with Ukraine in a friendly in September and will also take on Brazil on October 13th in Singapore.

This will be the second time the 2013 African champions will be meeting the South Americans at the senior level.

Brazil bashed Nigeria 3-0 in Abuja in 2003 at the opening of the M.K.O Abiola Stadium (formerly called National Stadium).

The Eagles finished third at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt after missing out on the last two editions of the competition in 2017 and 2015.
