President of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Suleman Johnson has said that although he is not a fan of Omoyele Sowore or his methods, the human rights activist should be immediately released.

Concise News reports that Sowore was reportedly picked up by DSS operatives at his apartment in the early hours of Saturday.

His arrest may be linked to the #RevolutionNow – a series of planned protests against what the Sahara Reporters publisher describe as ‘bad governance in Nigeria’ – scheduled for August 5, 2019.

And as the development has already sparked outrage on social media, the televangelist has shared his thoughts.

In multiple tweets, Apostle Suleman says protest is acceptable, but revolution is not.
