A Nigerian man identified as Ezeke from Imo state has been arrested for drug peddling by the Police in Ludhiana, Punjab’s Khanna district, India.
Concise News learnt that 200 gram of heroin was recovered from the drug peddler,
Superintendent of police, Jasvir Singh confirmed that Ezeke was arrested at a checkpoint on the national highway in Doraha on Thursday, July 25.
He was arrested from the bus stand side when the police stopped him for checking. The police seized 200g of heroin wrapped in a polythene bag from his possession.
According to police officials, the estimated cost of the consignment in the international market is around Rs 1 crore.
SSP, Khanna, Gursharandeep Singh said that the accused was booked under various sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act at Doraha police station.
