First Lady Aisha Buhari has commisserated with the family of the late Channels TV reporter Precious Owolabi killed during a clash between Shiites and the Nigerian police.

Concise News understands that Shiites under the body called the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) have been protesting for the release of their leader Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.

Precius who was killed by a stray bullet during the clash, has since been laid to rest in Kaduna. 

While reacting to the incident, Aisha shared a video of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s visit to the parents of the slain media personnel.

“May Precious Owolabi’s gentle soul rest in perfect peace & may God grant the family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. Amen,” she wrote on Instagram alongside the video.

During the visit, Osinbajo had described the demise of the youngster as a painful event.

He prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
