He was not part of the Arsenal team that went on the tour to the United States and did not play for the U23’s in their friendly against Barnet earlier in the week.

According to Sky Sports, the negotiation is considered to be improving, as Jiangsu Suning are increasingly confident they can convince Bale to join them.

Recall that the 30-year-old was advised to leave Real Madrid, though his deal still holds till the next three years, which he earns a £600,000-a-week contract.

The Chinese window closes by Wednesday, which means Jiangsu Suning will have to seal up Bale deals before that day.

Meanwhile, it is compulsory for all Chinese clubs to pay 100% transfer tax on foreign signings, which will reveal that Jiangsu Suning will purposely have to pay twice the amount to secure Real Madrid forward.

All proceeds from this transfer tax then go towards youth development in the country.

Transfer: Everton To Outbid Arsenal For Zaha

Everton is reportedly in talks to sign Wilfried Zaha and are set to bid £60m for the Crystal Palace forward.

This is 20 million more of what Arsenal have offered Palace for Zaha.

According to Sky Sports News, the Toffees are willing to offer the Eagles a player as part of the deal for Zaha, who wants to test himself at a new club after four-and-a-half years at Palace, who finished 12th in the Premier League last season.

Though his preference would be to remain in London, he is understood to be willing to move back to the north-west, despite an unsuccessful two-year spell at Manchester United before he returned to Palace.

The south Londoners value Zaha at £80m and are under no financial pressure to sell having already seen Aaron Wan-Bissaka join United for £50m this summer.

The Ivory Coast international is understood to have informed Palace of his desire to leave Selhurst Park after returning from the African Cup of Nations.

Arsenal have had a £40m offer rejected for Zaha, after which his brother urged Palace to allow him to pursue a “dream” move to the Emirates.

Zaha has scored 53 goals in 323 games across two spells at Selhurst Park but is believed to be keen to prove himself at the highest level after making just four appearances during his time with United.

EPL Outfit Arsenal Sign Highly-rated Defender

Arsenal have signed French defender Willam Saliba but the player will spend the coming season on loan, Concise News reports.

The Gunners poached Saliba, 18, from Ligue 1 club Saint-Etienne on a long-term contract but he will be on loan at Saint-Etienne before joining Arsenal next summer.

“We’re delighted William is joining us. Many teams wanted him but he decided he wanted to come to us and be part of our future,” Arsenal coach Unai Emery said.

“He will stay in France next season for more experience and then we look forward to him joining our group.”
