Ministerial Nominee Absent From Senate Screening

A ministerial nominee from Edo State Osagie Ehanire was not at the Senate for screening on Thursday.

When it was his turn to be screened by the lawmakers, Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, reported that Ehanire was absent.

It is the third day of the exercise, and today’s started with the immediate past Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami.

26 nominees have so far been screened, with the Senate adjourning temporarily to reconvened by 4pm for continuation of the screening.

Osagie is the immediate past Minister of State for Health.
