Head Pastor of the Omega Fire Ministries (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleman, has called on the Buhari administration to dialogue with members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), also known as Shiites.

Members of the Islamic group have relentlessly protested the continuous detention of their leader, Ibrahim el-Zakzaky, by the Nigerian government.

The Islamic leader has been in detention since 2015 in defiance to a court ruling.

Reacting to the renewed protests by the Shiite members, the tough-talking clergyman said dialogue with them would end bloodshed.

He also lamented the rising level of insecurity in Nigeria, describing it as worrisome.

“In as much as I strongly condemn the activities of Shiites members, I equally advise the fed govt to dialogue with them..when people are emotional over a cause, you don’t go forceful on them.there will be casualties on both sides. Dialogue now please.”

He lamented that “The level of killings/insecurity in nigeria is worrisome. No one can deny it’s reality.

“Its audible to the deaf and visible to the blind..anything doable to curb blood flow is welcome..dialogue now, please.”
