Shiites: Former Minister Mocks Channels TV Over Reporter’s Death

Owolabi was a member of the NYSC/Sahara Reporters

A former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode has mocked Channels TV over the death of its reporter Precious Owolabi who was killed on Monday in Abuja.

Owolabi, a member of the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC), was killed by a stray bullet as members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) protested against the detention of their leader Ibrahim Elzakzaky.

While reacting to the incident, Fani-Kayode who is a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), asked if Channels TV still loves President Muhammadu Buhari.

“A lady Pastor from RCCG was murdered by Sunni Muslims in Abuja three years ago for preaching the gospel,” he tweeted.

“A young reporter from Channels TV was murdered in Abuja yesterday during the Shia Muslim protest.”

He asked: “RCCG and Channels TV ,do you still love and support Buhari and his friends?”
